Scotland and discovers how the Purves Puppet Company prepares for
a performance. The puppeteers show visiting children simple ways of
staging a puppet show of their own, what the appeal is of a puppet
performance and how important the story itself is to the final production. |

with special needs. It examines some of the special features provided

the needs of children are being met. The program focuses on the design
of a new range of play equipment and talks to the designers to discover
the thinking behind its development. |

Food Chains |
| The 1980's saw the rise
of huge shopping developments and the steady decline of smaller indiviual
shops. This program focuses on the way food retailing has changed
and looks behind the scenes of a large supermarket. In particular,
the program looks at how food products are developed, tested and evaluated,
and follows the progress of a new pizza through this process. |
